Job Title: Animal Breeder
LOCATION: E. 7803 90th Avenue, Mondovi, WI 54755 (Dunn County)
Job Duties
The qualified applicant must perform the following duties: Support and execute the animals' reproduction process and care. Select animals to be bred in accordance with knowledge of animals, genealogies, traits, and desired offspring characteristics. Manage and perform data entry and analysis to position information for critical management decisions. Safeguarding animal welfare, including the implementation of sanitation measures, cleaning and disinfecting equipment pertaining to position. Administer vaccines to animals using specialized vaccination equipment to protect animals from diseases. Examine animals to detect and identify disease or injury. Treat minor ailments and injuries of the animals.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Behavior or directly comparable field of study or equivalent

At least 12 months of professional experience in animal breeding

Passage of a background check and FAA drug test

Ability to reliably commute to/from Mondovi, WI
Salary:
$54,787 per year
